keeps my curl pattern

I use this gel to make ‘cast’ on my curly hair when it’s wet, so my curl pattern stays when it’s dry. I like that it doesn’t smell strongly, and the scent is fairly ‘natural’. It’s sticky on my hands when I apply it, but not once it’s dry.

My curls form & stay better than the home-made flaxseed gel I was using before, I think because it’s stickier and lighter.

My only complaint is it makes my hair more matte and less soft, but then leaving a film layer is kind of the point so, hard to avoid. More sustainable packaging and/or refills would also be a plus.

If your hair is curly or wavy when wet, and you’d like to keep that pattern, I recommend it.
