Turns out real nuts taste better! We got tired of sugar bombs pretending to be nut butter. So we made our own. We stand for nut lovers. We seek real food. We read the labels. We live for flavour. We’re Dope Nutz, and we spread. Nutting but the good stuff!
Dope Nutz was founded by Bruno Fonseca, a Brazilian who first landed in Australia in 2010. He fell in love with the place, but went back home, finished his engineering degree, and years later, started making nut butters in his mum’s kitchen.
What began as a side project slowly became Eat Clean, which grew into Brazil’s leading brand.
In 2022, Bruno and his wife decided it was time to chase a new dream and return to Australia. He sold the company to one of Latin America’s biggest supplement companies, DUX.
In 2024, they made the move and settled in the sunny coastal town of Kingscliff, NSW.
Australia had the nuts, but no nut butter brand was bringing flavour, style and a clean label to the table. So in 2025, Dope Nutz was born, spreading nuttin but the good stuff from Kingscliff to the world.
