I initially purchased this product to give to my sister who is living with an end-stage illness and has poor appetite and energy levels so is underweight. But she does love mashed potato and, for ease of preparation, has been using instant mash products from the supermarket. After trying the Plantasy Foods Pure Potato Mash Instant Mix, she gave me feedback that it is the best instant mash she's ever had. She is very pleased that the only ingredient in the product is potato, with no other additives and, after adding her own salt & pepper and butter, the flavour is true to the home made mash that she has enjoyed her entire life. She will never go back to using the supermarket products. I did try the mash myself as well, and am also a convert due to the ease of preparation, lack of additives, and authentic taste which can be tailored to individual preferences just like the start-from-scratch mash that you’d make at home.
