INGREDIENTS:

Purified water, organic aloe vera juice, coco polyglucoside, organic shea butter, organic extracts of goji berry and passion flower, decylglucoside, locust bean gum, rose geranium pure essential oil, organic mandarin red oil, citrus seed extract, olive leaf extract, potassium sorbate and citric acid.

Awful Result - unless you like your hair to smell like corn chips

So disappointed with this shampoo, despite the promising ingredient list. I noticed it felt really slippery, almost oily on my hands. Once applied to the hair, it barely lathered, but the worst came on contact with warm shower water. The "scent" was like corn chips - due presumably to the high presence of sunflower oil - listed on my bottle, but not even listed here on this product page. I have very dry hair, have used many organic products for decades and haven't come across sunflower oil as an ingredient for dry hair before. I suspect it m's cheaper than other more effective oils such as avocado, jojoba or macadamia, & this shampoo has WAY too much in it. Yes, my hair felt soft afterwards, but it was also lank and my scalp did not feel clean. Between 1st & 2nd use, my hair was coming out - not by chunks, but certainly more than a few strands every day for several weeks. Have stopped using it, and a week or so later, the hair loss stopped. I do not recommend this product, or this brand. The conditioner wasn't much better. If Akin hadn't been bought out bemy a less ethical company, I'd still be using their hair products.

Terrible!

I would give this zero stars if I could. Not only does this not clean hair properly, but since using I have had peeling on my fingers and hair loss. Couldn't be more disappointed with this shampoo.

I've been told my hair is much softer since I started using this shampoo, and it is :)
