Fast, Healthy & Decadent Organic Mousse Recipe

Whether you’re hosting a dinner party and want to serve a light dessert your guests will love, or you’re looking for a healthy alternative to a favourite snack, this organic mousse recipe is sure to impress. The secret ingredient in this recipe is ripe, organic avocados.

Not only are the health benefits of avocado extensive, but its rich, creamy, buttery texture make this mousse a hit. Even better, this dessert is probably one of the easiest you’ll ever make.

Organic avocado chocolate mousse

Serves: 4 people

Total prep time: 5 minutes

Chill time: 20 minutes +

Ingredients

2 medium sized ripe, organic Hass avocados

1 small banana

¾ cup of raw, organic cacao powder

½ cup of organic honey  

¼ cup of water

1 tablespoon of organic vanilla extract

For serving, add fresh raspberries, sliced strawberries or chocolate shavings.

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Add additional honey, cacao or even some sweetener to taste.
  3. Chill, and serve!
