Pink Himalayan salt is made from rock crystals of salt that have been mined from the Khewra Salt Mines, situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is the second-largest salt mine in the world. The pink salt gets its rosy hue from trace minerals in the salt, like magnesium, potassium and calcium.

Himalayan salt contains the minerals that are necessary for your health, including macrominerals and trace minerals. The macrominerals are needed in relative abundance and include calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium.

Pour approx. 400 - 500g of Himalayan salt into the hot water and dissolve with the help of a cooking spoon. Relax in the bath for about 25 - 30 minutes and repeat once a week if time allows. During your hot bath keep a glass of water handy and never add more hot water once you enter into the tub. Relax and enjoy! Remember when finished towel dry without showering.
