Elta Ego was born from my search for asmarter, healthier way to unwind without alcohol.
My partner and I were over getting hangoversso we decided to stop drinking alcohol, especially because my mum who's a doctor had also helped us realise the long term effects of alcohol on our health and longevity.
After going alcohol-free, we were really enjoying having a better mood, motivation and sleep quality.But when we tried to find a delicious alcohol-free alternative we were really disappointed- they were bland, full of sugar and they didn't have any functional ingredients to help us relax or socialise.
Using a scientific processfrom my engineering background, I consulted with food scientists and spent hundreds of hours researching and testing to find ourunique trio of adaptogens - maca, ginseng, and L-theanine- along with delicious flavours and a low sugar formula.
