Unrefined Nutrients is an Australian family brand making wholefood supplements for kids and their parents. It was founded by clinical nutritionist Nicola Inger Scruby, whose kids immune protein began as homemade immunity milkshakes for her own child.... Nicola's partner, GP Dr Mitch Evans, reviews every formula so the range stays evidence based.
What is Kid's Immune Protein?
A wholefood protein powder for children from 12 months. Each blend pairs pasture-raised bovine collagen with prebiotic fibre, a heat-stable probiotic, vitamin C from camu camu, vitamin D from organic shiitake mushroom, zinc and active B vitamins from organic quinoa sprouts. It is designed to be whisked into cold milk as a milkshake, or stirred through porridge, yoghurt and baking, and sits beside the rest of our kids health range.
Which flavours can I buy?
Three: Vanilla Vanguard, Strawberry Fort (coloured with beetroot) and Cacao Cavalry (organic cacao and carob). All three have no added sugar and are sweetened with stevia.
Is there something for adults?
Yes. The Magnesium & Chamomile Malt Hot Chocolate is an evening wind-down drink made with organic raw cacao, 300mg of magnesium per serve, chamomile, passionflower, glycine and L-tryptophan. Find it alongside our cacao & cocoa and magnesium ranges.
Are Unrefined Nutrients products gluten free and dairy free?
The whole range is free from gluten, dairy, nuts and soy, so it suits our gluten free and dairy free shoppers. The hot chocolate is also vegan; the Kid's Immune Protein is not, as it is built on bovine collagen.
Where are they made?
Every product is made in Brisbane, Australia, from carefully vetted, globally sourced ingredients, with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Unrefined Nutrients is one of the newest brands on our shelves. Browse everything else that has just landed in new arrivals, or explore the wider baby and kids range.
